My Mission

Service and Cybersecurity

I was born into a law enforcement family who emphasized being a good member of the community and service to others from a young age. I was active in Scouting throughout much of my childhood and ultimately earned the rank of Eagle Scout. As an adult, continuing service to the people around me led me to enlist in the California Army National Guard.

Today, many nonprofit and public-benefit organizations that do great work for their communities struggle to keep up with modern cybersecurity demands. To help bridge the knowledge gap for these organizations, I offer free cybersecurity risk assessments to qualifying nonprofit and public-benefit organizations. These assessments are intended to help organizations identify practical improvements, reduce avoidable risk, and strengthen their security posture.

My Approach

Perfect should never be the enemy of good. My goal is to provide clear, actionable, and understandable guidance. I focus on practical recommendations that organizations can realistically implement, rather than overwhelming them with unnecessary complexity.
